18 inch Lauriche
English saddle for Dressage. Condition is "Used" but this saddle is in very good condition and has most of its long life left.  No alterations are necessary.
The seat is made of full grain nubuck seat leather which is a custom upgrade.
This saddle also has the unique girthing system as described in the information from Lauriche below.
This dark brown saddle is designed for Dressage.  It has a medium wide gullet.  The saddle fit my two horses: one with a long wither and a medium wide back, a TB/Paint X and the second horse was a Hanoverian/TB cross with a medium wide back..  The Lauriche saddles are very flexible and can fit different backs.  This saddle is in used condition  Original foam is in great shape.  This saddle uses a dressage girth.
The Lauriche saddles made all the difference in my competitions.
My horses were comfortable and could perform their best in the competition ring.

No one has an eye like Andy to marry the horses back with the saddle.

There is a minor cosmetic flaw under the right seat bone of
a slight wrinkle of the leather
.
This does not affect the saddle in any way.
The flap is 16.5” long from the stirrup bar. I hooked the tape measure over the bottom of the stirrup bar.
The seat is 18” from the middle of the cantle to the button. See picture

The Lauriche Saddle is made incorporating the same designs and principals as those used by The Great European Masters of Classical Equitation.
The Seat is Broad Based with a Low Head and Cantle, it is supporting but not restrictive, and is equally comfortable when using both the two or three point seat.
The Panels of the Saddle have a wide bearing surface, and fit the horses back from the front of the saddle to the back and from side to side, this makes the saddle very stable and also places the riders weight over a much larger area of the animals back than a conventional panel. There is also an essential wide gullet to leave the horses spine totally uninterrupted.
To add to the stability balance and even pressure, the saddle has our unique Girthing System which pulls from the point of the tree at the front and from the swell of the tree at the back.
The Girth Straps themselves are made of raw hide, which means the leather is tanned from both sides but is then taken out before the tanning process is complete, this leaves the leather raw i the middle which gives it immense strength and durability.
The Lauriche Saddle is Hand Made in our small workshop to the highest possible standard by a seasoned craftsman.
The Leather is of the finest available. The tree which is to our own design is made of Beechwood and due to the manufacturing process is extremely strong.
The seat is made of full grain nubuck seat leather.  Full grain nubuck is very strong and lasts a long time and costs more to make.
Correctly cared for, the saddle while give countless years of pleasurable riding.
I am retiring from riding.
The horses are also happily retired.
