This great coin looks and is nicer in hand than the scans indicate.
Any specks or flecks are on the scanner glass. Not the piece.
Note: Better date early gold in better grades is grossly undervalued in my opinion.
This is a scarce specimen of the 1850 Type 1 One Dollar Gold Piece. Very Scarce. XF in grade.  100% original. No cleaning. Scarce in any and all grades.  Very seldomly seen this nice.   Only a very small fraction of the original mintage remain in existence.   An excellent scarce early gold type coin.  Highly sought after by both dealers and serious collectors of scarce gold coins.
