Over the years, many gardeners have fallen in love with their Mantis brand ComposT-Twin tumbling composter.
Mantis makes great, long-lasting products! But composters do hard work in rough conditions and things wear out after years of tumble compost cycles.
The Mantis Compost-Twin tumble composter has 2 compost chambers. This allows you to add fresh green waste to one side, while the compost matures on the other side. Each compost chamber has a door, and each door has two aerators. The aerators keep pests and flies out of the compost chamber, and compost in the chamber -- while allowing plenty of oxygen and air circulation for complete composting.
After years of use, the OEM aerators can become brittle and damaged. Signs of wear include an aerator with a broken screen, or an aerator that no longer stays in position.
Mantis lists these replacement items on their website for over . That's and change for the cap, and another and change for the base. And they have been out of stock for a long time.
