"Based on the race-proven shape of Astute's Sky series, the SKYLAB VT features a comfy central cut-out and utilises the italian brand's smart twin shell design. This patented technology gives the saddle structure to avoid twisting and reduces vibration while the outer lightweight nylon shell gives an ultra-clean finish fit for a pro. The saddle's high-end credentials are boosted further by the full 3K carbon rails, which have a printed scale along their checkered weave for perfect alignment. The rails are attached at the rear via Astute's shock absorber pad system, elastomer pads that are sandwiched between rail and shell to further improve damping and comfort. The hard-wearing soft-touch microfibre cover is hand-stretched over strategically placed memory foam padding by Astute's artisans, a team who have been hand making saddles in Italy for over four decades."
