. Upon first look it appears like a photograph but on closer inspection it is a painting all made from sand. This piece is very striking and has sold for over 00 in galleries. Joe likes to call it "creative sand art" rather than sandpainting. Many of his paintings are for sale in his Santa Fe Gallery or the Penfield Gallery of Indian Arts. The depth of color, and the three-dimensional illusion in this work is stunning. T is actual turquoise imbedded in this piece, referred to as the "Navajo Diamond".
This is a vintage painting with normal wear to the matting and frame. Also, may have some fading from normal aging. Please look at photos.
