This is a Pre-Owned Vintage Aladdin Industries U.S.A. Disney Mickey Mouse Lunchpail with no thermos in
as is
condition. The lunchpail is marked on the bottom "Aladdin Industries, Inc. Nashville Tennessee U.S.A. ©The Walt Disney Company". The lunchpail looks to be made of some kind of very sturdy plastic and depicts a fully dimensional image of Mickey Mouse. As mentioned above, the lunchpail does not include the original thermos and is empty inside. Please see all twelve photos for details. Please also click on the photos to enlarge to see flaws. I tried my best to inspect this lunchpail with my magnifying glass. The lunchpail has some film, food spots, whitish crusty spots, dried pinkish spots, and dirt from being handled and used, I would highly recommend gently cleaning it before using/displaying. The lunchpail does not say whether or not it is dishwasher safe, but I highly recommend though hand washing it. The reason why this lunchpail is being sold in
as is
condition is because it has flaws from use and wear. Oddly enough, even though the lunchpail has flaws from use and wear, it does not completely take away from the overall look. The lunchpail is still cute and fun. The overall appeal and look of the lunchpail counteract with the flaws (if you are not too picky). The lunchpail has noticeable black scratch marks, scuff marks, nicks, and spots on Mickey's face. The lunchpail also has quite some bit of scratches, scuffs, nicks, and scrapes on the black areas. Again, even though the lunchpail has all these flaws, it does not distract too much from the overall look (again if you are not too picky). On the inside of the lunchpail on the backside of Mickey's nose is a dark black area that looks like it is just made this way. Inside this dark area is what appears to be crusty food inside a round shallow hole. The lunchpail also has some naturally formed flaws such as a perfectly round hole under it's left ear lobe, somewhat rough seam lines, somewhat porous finish/texture, areas where the color does not completely cover the area, small pieces of residue plastic along the seam lines, etc. The latch has some minor rust on it, but still works nice and closes secure. The lunchpail measures about 10 1/2" tall by about 10 1/2" wide by about 8" long. Overall it is still a very fun lunchpail! (if you do not mind the flaws mentioned in the listing and willing to buy it in
as is
condition). Again, the flaws do not take away too much from the fun overall look and appeal of the lunchpail (if you are not too picky). Photos may not show all flaws described in listing or on actual lunchpail. I am not sure how old this lunchpail is, but it does look vintage just based on how it looks, how it is made, and where it was made.
